From day 10 to February 13 was celebrated in Paris the textile fair "L'aiguille en fête" and we went there because we were told it was immense.
Here I am with my friends Asun and Imma before leaving the hotel. The picture is not very good because it is made mobile, but in our faces reflected the excitement of being in a dream, sightseeing and watching fairs related to our hobbies.
The truth is that we organize ourselves very well, they acted as guides and I intrérprete French. Poor me! Instead of speaking Spanglish Spanfrench, ha, ha, ha. Many years ago I studied the language and practice if not lost, but with the help of a dictionary we defended very well. And what we got to laugh!!
to Paris and the fair, but only on Saturday, were also some of my dearest friend of L'Associació Catalana de Manualitats TEXTILS , but as the show was great, we just saw once, we greet and then we were not more.
It was like trying to find a needle in a haystack.
But as they also form part of my beautiful weekend and at all times I felt my hand, but we were not around here I show you a picture where they are next to Veronique Requena.
From left to right, Montse, Ana, Veronique, Eugenia, Maribel and Magda (which is a little bent). Lack
my dear Jessica, but I gather that it was she who made the picture, or was lost by the fair, ha, ha, ha.
Girls enooooooooooooorme I send you a kiss!!
I have to say, in my of view, although the show was great, was very large, and there were at least two hundred stands, Esparas me otherwise. There was lots to embroidery, knitting, patchwork, boutis, etc, but I expected more innovative things that have not in the markets of Spain. I saw that everything is repeated enough. Anyway, the show did not stop surprising.
I bought some wooden buttons, a kit to make a picture of felt, yarn for bouitis and a little something more. Much because he can not abuse the suitcase was small and was afraid that after I let her go through the airport.
Here an overview of the fair.
As I have mentioned at the beginning, my friends and I arrived on Friday afternoon, so after settling in at the hotel, gave us time to do some sightseeing and go to dinner. By the way before I forget a black coffee cost us € 3.50!! My God and to carry music, ja, ja, ja.
Well here is the Arc de Triomphe at night, wonderful. Stripping was cold!
Notre Dame, impressive!
The pictures have been a bit dark because the day was Cloudy, but still no less beautiful and majestic.
And you shall see how they live in Paris on Valentine's day, I show you a picture I made to showcase a flower shop, where they had made a bunch of candy and chocolates. I found it very original.
And finally a photo My "very Parisian" which reflects the happiness she felt in making a journey so beautiful.
Thanks Paris! Je t'aime!!
